Thirteen Good News / Bad News Items from My Day
1.BAD - South Florida is experiencing a terrible drought.
2. GOOD - Water restrictions are in effect!
3. BAD - I could get a big fine if my sprinkler system runs outside the hours of the water restrictions.
4. GOOD - I found the timer boxes for the sprinklers and reset them to comply with the water restrictions!
5. BAD - They didn't go on when they were supposed to at 4 a.m. today.
6. GOOD - It rained this morning!
7. BAD - In my daughter's bedroom.
8. GOOD - My daughter notified me of the leak before the carpeting in her room got ruined.
9. BAD - The ceiling looks pretty bad and may require some major work to restore it.
10. GOOD - The A/C guy came out and it only cost $105 to fix it...as opposed to the $3,500 I was imagining!
11. BAD - I can't justify spending the $3,395 I "saved" from not having to replace the A/C unit.
12. GOOD - It's early May and while my friends are bundling up to go to their kids' baseball games in Boston, A/C is my biggest problem here in Boca!
13. BAD - I can't end on a bad...the glass is always half-full for me...at least we have A/C in the first place!
